Our digital coating plate solution sets the print-to-coating fit standard for the printing industry.
For the repeat jobs commonly found in the packaging industry, the stable polyester or metal base of our plates eliminates the need to re-cut additional blankets to replace over-streched rubber blankets.
Photopolymer coating plates provide higher gloss (approximately 8 points) with the same amount of coating, while providing a more consistent laydown of matte, satin and metallic coatings.
Polymer coating plates provide greater relief and cleaner edges than rubber blankets, resulting in cleaner running on press with fewer press stops for washing and less problems in the bindery or converting operation.

Packing is a critical component of ensuring the proper effective durometer of the coating plate, especially when running spot coating with fine detail.

Available in various gauges from .037" to .080", OEC's cushions provide a uniform base of support while compensating for cylinder imperfections and pressure inconsistencies.
